THE "MILLION DOLLAR MILE" STRIKES AGAIN

The Yacht CYGNUS Crossed LaConner Channel Reef at high tide.....and stopped suddenly. Our quick response saved the Yacht from further damage by shoring her up with beach timbers. Then we removed the rudders and props at low tide (in the dark at 2 AM.) With the rise of the tide at 6AM we floated her off with patches on her hull and pumps running.

At the Boatyard we cleaned up the water damage and later repaired her and returned her to service. She's made the trip to Alaska and back since then.

Another success story of our fast response salvage industry.
