The owner of this boat had just rowed ashore to do laundry when this fire broke out. There was one kitten on board that our fast thinking crew rescued from the fire.

We arrived on scene pushed the vessel ashore and coordinated with local law officials to put the fire out and contain any hazardous chemicals that might be seeping from the boat.

With the fire under control, the local officials on the scene, and the tide going out, we turned the smoking hulk over to the Island County Fire Department.

The boat was a complete loss. We later removed the hazard from the water to our boatyard and disposed of it for the owner.
